Custom Formulations Ltd is a full service manufacturer of white or own label beauty, healthcare, animal and house hold products for many leading brands.
We are a UK based company with a vast knowledge in the manufacturing industry of hair, beauty & cosmetic products. We began our journey in 1981 and our formulations have progressed alongside our clients creativity and new ideas to introduce to the marketplace.
The Custom Formulations team is led by Mr Mo Sohpal who started creating formulations of hair and beauty products as a 16 year old – he loved it so much he has continued to work in the industry ever since, branching out into other areas of development and formulation. Mo and the team take pride in working closely with clients to create specific formulations for customers that enables them to take pleasure in the rewarding results of their hard work.
Over many years the team have been creating custom formulations they have worked with, and for, some of the biggest names such as Sally’s, Aston & Fincher, Haselocks & many more. Many of these prestigious names are current clients of Custom Formulations Ltd.
Custom Formulations Ltd is a full process provider of custom health and beauty products. We will take your requirements and design a formulation, produce test formulations until the product is absolutely right, design the packaging and supply the full finished shelf-ready product in whatever quantities required. Our end to end process enables us to keep the entire design, development, production and manufacturing process under one roof and control everything that goes into the final product. All our products are manufactured to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and BRC Global Standards.

In 2015 a customer approached us with an idea for a cream that would ease inflamed skin caused through skin rubbing against skin, tight bra irritation or even itching.
Our analysis led us to consider anti-chaffing solutions and we designed a range of options using a variety of ingredients to get the right formulation. After research and testing we developed the final product: a rich and effective cream that is effective on rubbing and inflamed skin.
After the product was launched the response was massive: we produce 1000’s a week that are sold, not only direct to the consumer through various platforms, but also through wholesale channels to a large distribution network.
Our formulation has produced a product our clients are able to sell beyond their wildest dreams. The reviews of the product have gained it a reputation allowing it to sell itself, not only to other consumers, but to other retailers as well.
